FAQ
WHAT DO I WEAR?
We suggest that you wear comfortable stretchy clothing preferably with an elasticated waist so you can move easily. Avoid zips, thick seams or belts that can cause you discomfort or damage equipment. Close fitting tops or tops that tuck in are ideal so you don’t end up with your t-shirt round your ears when inverted!
If on your own mat or equipment, you can choose to be in socks or barefoot but if using any studio equipment we ask that you wear non slip soled socks please for safety and hygiene reasons.
Please tie long hair back when possible but essential when on the Reformers for safety.
Please avoid wearing jewellery where possible. Large items can cause discomfort for you and easily damage equipment.
Refrain from putting moisturiser on hands or feet before class, it can make for a treacherous workout.
Gentlemen: A polite request for you to please wear close fitting undershorts if not in longer trousers/leggings. On more than one occasion I have seen a little more than I really wanted to in class! Thank you
DO I HAVE TO BRING ANY EQUIPMENT?
Since the pandemic struck, insurers have recommended that group class attendees bring their own items to ensure the cleanliness of the equipment. Â To start you will just need a mat.
Some classes have themed equipment to keep things varied and challenging. Purchasing extra kit is not essential as we give cheap home-sourced alternatives. Â Please check out The LL Shop for top quality recommended pieces should you wish to buy.
In private classes and semi private classes we can manage to clean the equipment thoroughly between sessions for you so you do not need to bring any kit with you.
